Infinite Matsuri / 無限の祭り

Overview / 概要

Infinite Matsuri is the Sagishima Data Project sub-project that represents the island in its Hare register (非日常): the festival modes, the ceremonies, the imaginary city the island becomes during matsuri. It is the research counterpart to the Ke and Hare frame.

無限の祭りは、島をそのハレの相（非日常）において表現する佐木島データ・プロジェクトのサブプロジェクトである。すなわち、祭りの様式、儀式、そして祭りのあいだに島が立ちあがらせる想像上の都市を扱う。これはケとハレという枠組みの調査面の対応物である。

  • The Sagishima Data Project treats Sunoue's Obon dance as an Infinite Matsuri exemplar. 佐木島データ・プロジェクトは、須ノ上のお盆の踊りを無限の祭りの一例として扱っている。
  • It is a natural sister to the Isso-San Anthropology initiative (the Hare/Ke representation of the island, alongside the oral-history recording). これはイッソさん人類学の取り組み（口述史の記録とあわせた、島のハレ／ケの表現）と自然に姉妹をなす。
