Overview / 概要

The institutions that share the Foundation's concerns, materially or intellectually, form its working geography. This list is partial and is the kind of section future revisions will expand.

財団の関心を、物質的にも知的にも共有する諸機関が、その実働上の地理を形づくっている。この一覧は部分的なものであり、今後の改訂で拡充されていく類いの節である。

On Sagishima itself / 島内

  • Sagiura Elementary School (鷺浦小学校): principal, head teacher, ~25 children. The island's living link to the next generation and the Foundation's most consequential community partnership. 鷺浦小学校：校長、教頭、児童約25名。次世代との島の生きたつながりであり、財団にとって最も重要な地域連携。
  • Tanimoto Construction Company (谷本建設): the island-based construction firm that supports the Workshop's deconstruction work. 谷本建設：ワークショップの解体作業を支える、島を拠点とする建設会社。
  • The Sunoue residents who gather for the 6:30am Radio Taiso. Not a formal list; the relationship is the gathering. 朝6時30分のラジオ体操に集まる須ノ上の住民たち。 正式な名簿があるわけではなく、その集まり自体が関係そのものである。

  • City of Mihara (三原市): formal partnership, Feb 27 2024. 三原市：正式な連携、2024年2月27日。
  • Hiroshima Prefecture (広島県): less formally engaged so far; the larger civic context. 広島県：これまでのところ関与は比較的非公式。より大きな市民社会的文脈。
  • Hiroshima University, Sumikura+Ishigaki Lab. 広島大学、角倉・石垣研究室。
  • Onomichi Akiya Saisei Project (尾道空き家再生プロジェクト): Onomichi-based, closely allied, "the friend across the water." An NPO active since around 2007, led by Masako Toyoda (豊田雅子), that renovates vacant houses and reopens them for short stays and community use, runs monthly town-walking tours of its restoration cases, and hosts architecture lectures and art residencies. Its Anago No Nedoko (あなごのねどこ) hostel and renovated houses (Ma, with a 60-mat great room; Sanjo; the Gaudi House) parallel the Workshop's akiya practice (see Ports and Landing). A directly relevant precedent for the Foundation's salvage and akiya cycle. Full profile: Onomichi Akiya Saisei Project. 尾道空き家再生プロジェクト：尾道を拠点とし、密接に連携する「海の向こうの友」。2007年頃から活動するNPOで、豊田雅子が率い、空き家を改修して短期滞在や地域利用のために開き直し、改修事例をめぐる月例のまち歩きツアーを催し、建築のレクチャーやアートのレジデンスも行っている。その「あなごのねどこ」ゲストハウスや改修した家屋（60畳の大広間を持つMa、三軒家、ガウディハウス）は、ワークショップの空き家の実践と通じ合う（港と上陸地点を参照）。財団のサルベージと空き家の循環にとって、直接に関わりのある先行事例である。

  • University of Tokyo, DECON/RECON M.Arch Studio: the principal pipeline of degree-seeking students into the residencies, and a Sagishima Data Project research partner. 東京大学 DECON/RECON 建築修士スタジオ：学位取得を目指す学生を居住プログラムへ送り出す主要な経路であり、佐木島データ・プロジェクトの研究パートナー。
  • University of Tokyo, Gondo Laboratory (権藤研究室): collaborator on the May 2024 program; specifics to confirm. 東京大学 権藤研究室：2024年5月のプログラムの協力者。詳細は要確認。
  • University of Melbourne, M.Arch: joint sessions on Sagishima in January 2024 (Nancy, lecturer); collaboration ongoing. メルボルン大学 建築修士課程：2024年1月に佐木島で共同セッション（講師：Nancy）。連携は継続中。
  • Certain Measures: Bryan's design firm; technical platform contributor to Thirsty Island and the Digital Twin. Certain Measures：Bryan のデザイン会社。渇いた島およびデジタルツインへの技術プラットフォーム面での貢献者。
